Pekka Aavikko

Hi! I’m Pekka Aavikko, Nth year student of telecommunications engineering and I’m doing my masters degree in telecommunications management. I have been very active in the student union and in different organizations. I’m also interested in politics and I have been active in the national coalition party and I’m also a member of the technical board of Espoo.

More visibility
Technology students should know better what the student union does. I think we need more information about the upcoming fusion of HUT, Helsinki School of Economics and University of Art and Design Helsinki. We also need more information about services and events in English to TKY web pages!

Efficiency
Membership of the student union is mandatory so we need to stop the rising of the membership fee. We can save money for example by finishing the subscription for T-Lehti (a Finnish language magazine that student union pays for).
